Michael Hoeffel
Managing Director of Investments
As Managing Director of Investments, Michael Hoeffel oversees JMF Capital’s asset/portfolio management functions. Michael’s role works cross-functionally with investment management and property management companies including the; operations, acquisition, asset management, investor relations, FP&A and accounting teams and serves as a key advisor to the CEO of JMF Capital. Michael is also a member of the Investment committee. Michael has over 25 years of real estate experience, during which he has been involved in the sourcing, underwriting, acquisition, development, management and disposition of more than $11 billion in property assets. During his tenure at MacFarlane Partners he served as Managing Director, Portfolio Management. Prior to joining MacFarlane Partners, Michael served as manager of analysis services for Property Capital, Inc. Michael has a Master of Business Administration degree from the Haas School of Business at the University of California, Berkeley with an emphasis in real estate, and a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Georgetown University. He is a member of the Urban Land Institute, the Pension Real Estate Association and Berkeley Real Estate Associates.
